GCreator Spirit, all divine,
Dcome visit every soul of thine,
Emand fill with thy celestial flame
Cthe hearts which thou thyself did frame.
GO gift of God, thine is the sweet
Dconsoling name of Paraclete;
Emand spring of life and fire of love
Cand unction flowing from above.
GThe mystic sevenfold gifts are thine,
Dfinger of God's right hand divine;
Emthe Father's promise sent to teach
Cthe tongue a rich and heavenly speech.
GKindle with fire brought from above
Deach sense, and fill our hearts with love;
Emand grant our flesh, so weak and frail,
Cthe strength of thine which cannot fail.
GDrive far away our deadly foe,
Dand grant us thy true peace to know;
Emso we, led by thy guidance still,
Cmay safely pass through every ill.
GTo us, through thee, the grace be shown
Dto know the Father and the Son;
Emand Spirit of them both, may we
Cforever rest our faith in thee.
Dcome visit every soul of thine,
Emand fill with thy celestial flame
Cthe hearts which thou thyself did frame.
